Long Time No Post

Well, it's been two months, so we have a lot of catching up to do!  Our baby is 14 months old, but some days I swear he's 4 years old!  Jess surprises us everyday with how much he understands and remembers.  He matches up like items, he can point out almost all of the Sesame Street characters, and he knows the difference between all of his barnyard animals!
Helping Papa find a stud

So adorable!
Jess is (obviously) a Vikings Fan, and he does watch the games with his Papa.  Well.....he plays with his toys and books while the game is on, not a lot of watching goes on.  He is still loving his bath time SOOOO much.  He got some bath crayons and some bath drops to color the water.  He loves every minute of bath time, and so do we!

Blue?!?
Jess is in a phase right now where he is not so much into vegetables.  He is a carb-o-holic.  I think he might get that from his mama.  The trick is to only give him veggies at the beginning of each meal, so he fills up on those first.  He'll always eat meat and carbs!  Also he is very into dipping his food.  We put ketchup or some other sauce on his plate and he dips EVERYTHING in it, saying, "di! di! di!" (he leave out the 'p').
Yum-O!
We really enjoyed this Christmas season.  Jess had fun getting our Christmas tree, and he (sort-of) liked his first snow suit.....thanks Baba and Deedee!  Our Elf on the Shelf showed up on December first, and we had so much fun trying to find him every morning.  By the time Christmas Eve came, Jess was a pro at looking for him and finding him.

We celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas day at home in Ladysmith, but we did get to celebrate with our families in the Cities the weekend before.  Jess was so spoiled, and so were his Mama and Papa.  Thanks so much to our families for all of your generosity.  We had a blast!
Cool dinosaur, Papa!
Papa got a head lamp, Jess wore it all day!
Tug-of-war with the pups.  Jess did not win.

Jess loves climbing anything and everything right now.  He still hasn't attempted to climb out of his crib, so that's good!  Hopefully he holds off on that for a while.
Sooooo big!

Well, that in no way catches everyone up from the last two months, but it's all I got at this point.  I hope you all had a great Christmas and Happy New Year!
